Job Summary:

Savino Del Bene is a leading global freight forwarding company seeking a skilled Corporate Tender Pricing Specialist to enhance our tender management processes. The successful candidate will work within our US Tender Team, collaborating with sales, procurement, and management to analyze and evaluate new tender opportunities. This role will reside at our Savino Del Bene Chicago office, with the option to relocate to this area at the candidate's own expense.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate new tender opportunities to identify potential business growth.
  • Assist with the entire bid process for selected proposals, bids, and tenders, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Work closely with sales, procurement, and management to develop bid strategies and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Compile technical and commercial response documents, ensuring the highest standards of quality.
  • Submit RFQ/Tenders through tender platforms, maintaining accurate records and deadlines.
  • Prepare content for and attend bid/proposal client meetings and interviews, effectively communicating our value proposition.
  • Participate in customer tender launch meetings/tutorials, ensuring a thorough understanding of client needs.
  • Review and analyze all documents (SLA, RFI, NDA, Bid-Sheet), identifying areas for improvement.
  • Discuss strategy with product management, sales, and senior executives to ensure alignment and effective decision-making.
  • Monitor tender platforms updates, Q&A, and other relevant information to stay informed and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Provide general management of the process, ensuring internal and external deadlines are met.
  • Collect rates from product management and global associates, coordinating and assembling bid-sheets for submission.
  • Audit rate outlines to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Aid with bid downloads and uploads to tender platforms, resolving any challenges or issues that arise.
  • Establish tender offering (email or platform) confirmation numbers, tracking and recording submissions.
  • Assess round 1 offering vs round 2 offering, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Assess round offering(s) vs target, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Participate in conference calls as required, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Work alongside the business implementation team to ensure a smooth transition of awarded business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Microsoft Office knowledge, with high proficiency in Excel.
  • Position preferably resides in Chicago branch, with the option to relocate to this area at the candidate's own expense.
