Manufacturing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Manager to oversee the overall operations of specific areas, ensuring production goals, consistent quality standards, and customer delivery requirements are met. As a key member of our team, you will lead team members and organize workflows in complex assembly operations.
Key Responsibilities- Production Planning: Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products, ensuring meeting scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.
- Team Leadership: Plan production operations by establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, ensuring successful team operations by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members.
- Staff Management: Maintain staff by selecting and training team members, then developing personal growth opportunities, collaborating with nearby departments to ensure production goals are met.
- Quality Control: Maintain quality of product by establishing and enforcing organization standards, ensuring operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions and responding to requests.
- Process Improvement: Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, implementing change.
- Leadership Responsibilities: Directly supervise department teams, carrying out supervisory responsibilities following Whisker policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, training, and hiring, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, addressing team issues, and upholding safety and quality guidelines.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- 5+ years of experience managing people and teams is preferred.

- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to organize and evaluate programs, records, and documents.

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Working experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
