Role Summary:

Substitute instructors are responsible for executing the daily educational agenda in the absence of the regular teacher. In this role, you will have the chance to refine your teaching skills, create a positive learning environment for students, and play a vital role in the educational community.

This position involves adhering to and delivering lesson plans, assisting students in grasping the subject matter, and maintaining established classroom routines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective instruction to students in designated classrooms during the regular teacher's absence.
  • Review and follow the regular teacher's established routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum goals.
  • Foster and maintain a safe and organized classroom atmosphere.
  • Report any student injuries, illnesses, or significant disciplinary issues to school administration.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by school administration.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a TN Background Check with reimbursement options available.

Compensation: $86-100 per day
