Job Title: Registered Nurse RN

Lutheran SeniorLife is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN to join our team at the Advanced Care Center of Butler. As a Registered Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse RN to provide professional nursing care to our residents. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various nursing procedures.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with the DON and other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in care planning conferences, update patient care plans as needed, and maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care.
  • Monitor and oversee the care provided by Nurse Aides, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in unit team meetings, provide input on nurse aide performance, and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including participating in internal and external meetings, in-services, and continuing education programs.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current Registered Nurse license in good standing from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • A strong background in nursing, with experience in skilled nursing care and patient assessment.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
