Job Title: Geriatrician Physician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Geriatrician Physician to join our team at Greenlife Healthcare Staffing. As a Geriatrician Physician, you will provide medical care to treat, prevent, and diagnose illness, disease, or injury in our network of federally qualified community health centers located in Bronx, New York.

Responsibilities:

• Examine or conduct tests to provide information on medical status, analyze records, reports, test results, and/or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient, prescribe/administer treatment, therapy, medication and/or vaccination.
• Focus on explaining procedures and discussing test results on prescribed treatments with patient and advise patients and community concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with and non-physician providers (NP, PA, CNM, etc).
• Perform other job-related duties as required by departmental needs/demands.
• Home visits and in office visits

Requirements:

• Must have an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of accredited residency program
• Must have completion of Fellowship in Geriatrics
• Must be Board Certified
• Must have valid NY State license, CDS, DEA, and BLS
• Understanding of and passion for Community Healthcare is preferred

Benefits:

• The salary for this position is $210,000 - $245,000 / yr
