Transportation Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for safely transporting geriatric, frail, and/or physically limited individuals to and from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles, depending on the individual's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver participants to and from their destinations
• Ensure safe transportation of participants with special needs
• Comply with all state laws and requirements for driving
• Provide proof of driver's license and auto insurance upon request
• Complete defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 90 days of hire

Requirements:

• 5 years of driving experience
• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
• 2 years of experience driving a large passenger van or small bus
• 2 years of experience transporting people with special needs
• 1 year of experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs
