Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and nurses in patient care, ensuring efficient and effective patient flow through the clinic.
  • Obtain complete and accurate information from patients, including medical history and treatment plans.
  • Perform clerical and information technology functions for physicians, including electronic health records and dictation systems.
  • Anticipate physician needs to facilitate clinic flow and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to patients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a formal medical assistant training program and/or certification.
  • At least two years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting, or recent graduate of a medical assistant training program.
  • BLS (CPR) certification required.
