Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for supervising Nuclear Medicine Technologists and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and evaluate the work of Nuclear Medicine Technologists, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of patient data.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology.
  • Must be certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (N).
Working Conditions

This position is located in a healthcare setting and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The selected candidate must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
