Consulting Utility ForesterJoin Eocene Environmental Group, an employee-owned company, in a dynamic role that combines forestry expertise with utility line clearance. As a Consulting Utility Forester, you will work independently, traveling to various locations, and collaborating with property owners and public agencies to ensure safe and efficient delivery of power.
Key Responsibilities:- Contact property owners and public agencies to discuss pruning and removals
- Conduct tree and brush inventories, hazard tree inspections, and evaluations
- Plan work for tree contractors and manage data
- Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area
- Enforce on-the-job safety practices and maintain equipment
- Degree in forestry or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Species identification skills, invasive species knowledge, and tree growth rate understanding
- Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service, and map navigation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data collection software (GIS experience a plus)
