Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

At Lactalis Heritage Dairy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Walton, NY.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing manufacturing performance improvement initiatives, with a focus on process optimization, efficiency, and quality. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement, developing and implementing new processes and methodologies, and analyzing and refining existing processes to achieve cost savings and improved productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement manufacturing performance improvement initiatives, with a focus on process optimization, efficiency, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement new processes and methodologies to improve manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze and refine existing processes to achieve cost savings and improved productivity.
  • Provide training and education to employees on various operations and processes to support improvement in manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment and materials.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of plant-wide initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other Technical fields.
  • 5+ years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success leading performance improvement efforts and initiatives.
  • Strong planning, and implementation skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skill.
  • Excellent leadership and time management skills.
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
