Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Packaging Engineer to join our team at General Fluidics Corporation. As Associate Director/Director, Manufacturing, you will be responsible for designing and developing low-cost, high-volume liquid filled disposables for in vitro devices.

This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of packaging design and development, as well as experience in managing day-to-day manufacturing operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Develop and implement design and development strategies for packaging solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Manufacturing Operations: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring that production meets quality and regulatory standards.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that packaging materials and processes meet regulatory standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that packaging designs and processes comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Automation or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in packaging design and development, manufacturing operations, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading packaging design and development projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Strong understanding of packaging design and development principles, including CAD software and other tools.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, including FDA regulations, ISO standards, and European directives.
Salary:

$140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
