Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Petroleum Transport Driver to join our team at Wayne Transports, Inc. as a Bulk Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering petroleum-based products in bulk to various customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Operations: Load petroleum products at refineries, ethanol plants, and bulk storage facilities, and unload them at customer locations such as gas stations, airports, refineries, and bulk storage facilities.
  • Trailer Operations: Hook up and disconnect trailers to semi-trucks, manually raise and lower dolly legs on the trailer, and ensure secure loading and unloading of petroleum products.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and loaders to accommodate their needs, and ensure timely delivery of petroleum products.
  • Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, bend, twist, pull, and grasp, and climb in and out of semi-trucks using three points of contact.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL License: Possess a valid Class A CDL driver's license with tanker and hazmat endorsement.
  • Medical Certification: Hold an approved medical card via a DOT-certified doctor, PA, or chiropractor.
  • Training and Experience: Have completed DOT 49 CFR formerly HM-126 training and have relevant experience in the petroleum transportation industry.
