HealthPro Heritage is seeking a skilled Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Shelbyville, TX.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality patient care and support our Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
- Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
- Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
