Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team at Hummingbirds Innovations. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, creating, deploying, and maintaining multiple ServiceNow applications supporting the Intelligence Community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, CSM, Service Portal, HR Module, Asset Management, Change Management, Custom Development, and more.
  • Code Management: Develop code, hold code reviews, check in code, and help build the pipeline for continuous integration/continuous delivery.
  • Customization and Configuration: Customize ServiceNow applications, facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules, configure application UI, workflow, and API.
  • Configuration Management: Create, maintain configuration management on the ServiceNow platform in all environments.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests.
  • Consultation: Confer with Mission Partners to define their information technology goals and advise on the re-engineering of business processes to meet those goals.
  • Expertise: Provide expertise in standards and validations, such as ISO 9000.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer.
  • Integration: Act as a key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of re-engineering efforts.
  • Awareness and Training: Champion awareness training and implementation of business processes.
  • Process Development: Develop process documentation, testing, workflows, and work plans.
  • Leadership: Lead workflow presentations to leadership and Mission Partners as required.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with multiple departments within and outside of the customer's organization to accomplish project tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Independent self-starter and proactive at developing solutions and solving business problems using ServiceNow.
Required Qualifications:
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, 6 years of related experience; or a Master's with 4 years of experience; an Associate's with 8 years of experience.
  • ServiceNow Experience: Experience with ServiceNow Tools
  • Best Practices: Understanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process management.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Estimation: Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently and appropriately.
  • Public Speaking: Strong public speaking skills and professional demeanor required.
  • Agile Frameworks: Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development, including task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow Certification: ServiceNow developer certification, preferably Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Application Specialist
  • HTML/CSS Experience: Experience in HTML/CSS
