Accounts Receivable Specialist

Total Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy in billing, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining records related to billing.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure invoices and pricing are accurate and in compliance with company policies, current contracts, and quotes.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies associated with invoices and payments.
- Generate, review, and send out invoices to clients and customers.
- Establish and maintain relationships with past, current, and future customers.
- Collaborate with customers and sales team on past due balances owed to the Company.
- Prepare and complete internal audits as appropriate to ensure all shipped items have been invoiced.
- Enter billing data into financial systems and update records as needed.
- Assist with credit process for the Company.
- Generate monthly account statements.
- Maintain and track tax exemption certificates.
- Assist with year-end audits.
- Work effectively within the finance and purchasing teams, encouraging and supporting others.
- Develop and maintain interdepartmental communication channels.
- Drive the company culture of transparency, responsibility, and integrity in themselves and in their team.
- Be a champion of change, supporting a culture of Continuous Improvement.

- A four-year degree in accounting is preferred.
- Candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in accounting/finance, or a combination of both.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret general business documents in English, and communicate those out effectively.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Suite knowledge required.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills are required.
