Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Cherrelyn Healthcare Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents with respiratory and pulmonary conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with respiratory and pulmonary conditions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' respiratory status, including lung function tests and oxygen saturation monitoring.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve respiratory function and overall health outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
  • Work closely with the nursing team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Current CRT or RRT credential.
  • Associate degree from an accredited school.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a skilled nursing and/or acute care setting.
  • Knowledgeable user of Point Click Care (PCC).
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
