Senior Tax Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Associate to join our dynamic team at Spartan Placements LLC. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with complex tax returns and provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex income tax returns for various entities, including S-Corp, partnership, C-Corp, individual, and fiduciary clients.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis, including documentation and codification of facts and conclusions.
  • Mentor and train junior staff on tax projects and concepts.
  • Collaborate with the engagement team to provide consultative services to clients and make recommendations as a business advisor.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA and/or JD, or working toward license, preferred.
  • MT/MST and/or LLM in Tax a plus.
  • 3-5 years of public accounting experience with a focus in tax.
  • Experience with pass-through entities and high-net-worth individuals and family groups.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically, and manage multiple clients and projects.
  • Outstanding attention to detail; Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
