Breakfast Host

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Homewood Suites Bloomington. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their breakfast experience is enjoyable and memorable.

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and genuine care
• Deliver highly attentive service, ensuring guests' needs are met promptly and efficiently
• Engage in polite conversation with guests, making them feel valued and appreciated
• Be fully informed of continental breakfast options and be able to answer guests' questions confidently
• Set up the Breakfast area for service, ensuring it is clean and well-stocked
• Stock all self-service areas with proper equipment and food items, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Maintain proper standards of sanitation and physical appearance of the breakfast area, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Obtain food supplies from the Food Storeroom, ensuring timely and efficient service
• Comply with all food safety and quality assurance standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Complete prep work as required for the next shift, breaking down the breakfast area and returning all unused items to their appropriate places
• Clean chairs, tables, and floor, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation

• Professional demeanor and a warm, welcoming personality
• Ability to engage easily and actively connect with others, including guests and colleagues
• Comfortable conversing with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at all organizational levels
• Speak clearly and professionally, using appropriate language and tone
• Previous bartending experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to stand for long periods, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps
