Hospitalist Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist for an employed role in Southeast Kansas. This position is open to J1 candidates with ties to the Midwest.

Compensation Structure
  • Per Shift Payment: $2,000
  • Shift Schedule: 6 on/6 off or 6 on/12 off

Currently, our team consists of 2 full-time and 1 part-time provider managing the service.

Additional Benefits

Qualifications

We welcome candidates from Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, or Family Practice backgrounds. Applicants must be adept at managing ICU patients (5-bed unit), including ventilator management and the use of pressors. Skills in EKG interpretation, central and arterial line placement, and intubation are essential.

As cardiology and pulmonology services are not available on-site, the Hospitalist will oversee these areas. Should any concerns arise, patient transfer is an option.

Patient Care Load

The average daily patient load ranges from 15 to 20, with a maximum capacity of 25 patients.
