Job Title: Residuals Analyst

At Cast & Crew, we're seeking a detail-oriented Residuals Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our residuals team, you'll be responsible for processing residuals payments for assigned shows and serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the payment process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up residual products, including reviewing talent contracts and identifying residuals made-for-market.
  • Input or upload talent, making adjustments as needed, and compile run and revenue/receipts information to process residual payments in accordance with Guild deadlines.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of union contract residuals provisions, fringes, regulations, deadlines, industry standards, and requirements.
  • Review payee contracts, timecards, and input or upload residuals triggers, creating, reviewing, and sending residuals invoices as needed.
  • Reissue lost, stolen, and stale-dated residuals checks, and maintain accurate records by following residuals recordkeeping procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience with residual setups and/or residual payments required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to learn and use customized software programs, with basic to intermediate PC skills, including Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively towards a goal, developing and maintaining working relationships with clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end processing of entertainment residuals or royalties.
  • Entertainment payroll or accounting experience.
