Position Overview:
CoxHealth is actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to fulfill the vital role of an inpatient Laborist. This position is dedicated to delivering outstanding care to expectant mothers throughout their hospital stay, managing the labor and delivery process, and addressing obstetrical emergencies as they arise. The role may also involve performing minor gynecological procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus exclusively on inpatient care
- Work on a shift-based schedule with no on-call responsibilities
- Provide care at a leading medical facility equipped with a Level IV Maternity Center and Level III NICU
- Collaborate closely with a team of OB/GYNs, Family Medicine practitioners, and Maternal Fetal Medicine experts
