Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Daly City, CA. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will work with students in a pediatric setting, providing occupational therapy services to help them achieve their full potential.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and be licensed to practice in California. You will work 40 hours per week, providing occupational therapy services to students in a PreK-12th grade setting. Previous school experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
  • Treat students with physical impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, and/or changes in physical function
  • Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments for each student
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the student's IEP
  • Educate students, family members, and caregivers about the treatment plan and how it applies in each environment
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure student needs are met
  • Document student progress and treatment plans in accordance with state guidelines and company policy
Requirements:
  • Active California OT/OTA License
  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
  • Previous school experience preferred but not required
