Job Title: Travel Nurse RN

Job Summary:

RTG Medical-Nursing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in a Medical-Surgical unit. As a traveling healthcare professional, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to Medical-Surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
