Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Swim Instructor at Goldfish Swim School - Shoreline. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching children of all ages how to swim and promoting water safety.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on thorough knowledge of our curriculum.
  • Certify students in lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid within 90 days of hire.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in swim instruction.
Requirements
  • Ability to work with children of all ages and skill levels.
  • No formal swim experience required; full training provided.
  • Ability to work in the water for 3-4 hours on some shifts.
  • Ability to work 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) and some evenings (until 7:30).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
