At US Renal Care, we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our cross-functional team. As a PCT, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care and delegated activities of treatment to patients with renal failure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment to patients
  • Monitor patients during treatment and collect blood samples as per physician orders
  • Ensure quality and safety by preparing machines, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, and conducting machine safety checks
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Current Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) certificate or equivalent
  • Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
State-Specific Requirements:
  • California: Must possess current CHT certificate or complete an approved dialysis technician training program
  • Maryland: Must possess current CNA-DT certificate or complete an approved dialysis technician training program
  • New Mexico: Must have New Mexico dialysis technician certificate or complete an approved dialysis technician training program
  • Ohio: Must have Ohio dialysis technician intern certificate or complete an approved dialysis technician training program
  • Oregon: Must possess current CHDT certificate or obtain Oregon dialysis technician provisional certificate
