Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at IU Health Methodist Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly.
  • Conduct CT scans according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Review and analyze images to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest CT scanning technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Valid driver's license or passport accepted.
  • AHA ONLY RQI is acceptable.
  • Online verification of license to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions (within 30 days before start date).
  • Medication test/pharmacology exam required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
