Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing accurate and data-driven demand forecasts, aligning with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills to influence key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive demand forecasting process, utilizing historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to drive business alignment.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure real-time updates and adjustments to demand forecasts, driving continuous improvement.
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring that demand planning supports business objectives and supply chain optimization.
- Monitor forecast accuracy metrics and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in demand planning, sales forecasting, and supply chain management within the CPG industry. Proven expertise in advanced demand forecasting techniques, including statistical modeling, AI/ML-driven forecasting, and predictive analytics is also required. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of S&OP processes and cross-functional collaboration, as well as proficiency in demand planning software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
