Mid-Level System Engineer

KBR is in search of a Mid-Level System Engineer to contribute to our engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement robust engineering principles and methodologies. Provide comprehensive technical assistance throughout all stages of system requirements development, including independent technical evaluations, assessments, and documentation of system requirements.
  • Develop and manage digital models of the system's technical frameworks utilizing Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and various simulation tools.
  • Create a solid technical foundation to facilitate the swift integration of new capabilities, formulate program descriptions and plans, and establish cohesive roadmaps aligned with program objectives.
  • Analyze and prioritize client requirements while assessing project costs and feasibility.
  • Formulate systems analysis and methodologies that align with technical specifications and review proposals for system enhancements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MBSE/SysML
  • Knowledge of laser technology
  • Proficiency in fiber splicing
  • Familiarity with adaptive optics
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Understanding of control theory

  • TS/SCI required.
