Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Wexford Health Sources. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our incarcerated patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Under the clinical supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist in the assessment of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions.
  • Implement individual treatment programs, utilizing available resources and consulting with registered nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.
  • Administer medications and interventions in accordance with provider instructions.
  • Document nursing encounters, patient response, effectiveness, and complications, and communicate information to supervisory personnel and physicians.
  • Assist in maintaining working and living areas and supplies in good order.
  • Participate in a nursing care and treatment team, and assist physicians as assigned.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted STATE Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred.
