Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing assistance to physicians and staff
  • Prepare exam rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  • Assist with procedures, administer medications, and manage prescription requests
  • Enter pertinent information into patient EMRs
  • Review and update patient information on each visit
  • Conduct laboratory and pathology services
  • Document patient information and messages
  • Support management decisions and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

  • Valid nursing or medical assistant license
  • Familiarity with basic medical office procedures
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to stand for 0-8 hours daily
  • Ability to assist patients with standing, walking, and getting on/off exam tables or equipment
  • Ability to multitask and work in stressful situations

Working Conditions:

This position requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask is essential.
