Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the coordination and progression of various municipal and state-related initiatives.
  • Conduct geospatial analyses, asset planning, gap assessments, and project prioritization.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in the GIS domain and related technologies.
  • Organize and schedule assignments, tasks, and field operations.
  • Execute complex GIS procedures and data analyses.
  • Develop, support, and provide training on ESRI-based web applications, including WebApps, Dashboards, Experience Builder, Field Maps, and Survey123.
  • Collaborate within a team to create geographic database structures, tables, forms, and reports.
  • Offer GIS-related technical support to both internal and external clients.
  • Ensure quality assurance of GIS data and associated graphical components.
  • Work collaboratively with office staff and project managers to complete assigned tasks.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Anticipate client needs and effectively communicate expectations.
  • Manage workload efficiently and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A strong grasp of technical applications, concepts, principles, and theories in GIS.
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Engineering, Environmental Resources, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with geospatial data management, including modeling, manipulation, and asset management.
  • Experience with the ESRI suite of tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, etc.).
  • Exhibit professionalism when interacting with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Extensive experience in map generation and visualization.
  • Ability to collect field data and measurements for various assets and conduct inspections.
  • Capability to lift/move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to perform fieldwork in diverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain in a standing or seated position for extended periods.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of Python programming and SQL server is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and applications is a plus.
