Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

Requirements:

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment, and prior work experience with Walgreens.
Prefer good math skills, computer skills, and knowledge of store inventory control.
Prefer PTCB or ExCPT certification.
