About the Role

As the Global Security Operations Manager, you will oversee physical safety and security operations on a global scale, implementing comprehensive programs that ensure consistency across all locations. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled security and safety professional, innovative and tech-savvy, with a proven track record of delivering effective safety and security solutions for multinational organizations. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate potential risks to the business and address them promptly by fostering collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Your focus will be on both execution and strategy, ensuring our daily operations run smoothly while also contributing to the long-term success of Miro; you will navigate between these responsibilities regularly.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance a 24/7 Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) program by collaborating with exceptional professionals and cutting-edge technology to minimize our security risk profile.
  • Oversee operational activities related to the enforcement of physical security policies, including the management of incidents and response actions.
  • Engage with external system integrators and lead projects involving the design and implementation of various physical security measures across Miro's locations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws governing security and safety in operational areas, aligning with our Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
  • Design and implement training programs tailored to the security and safety risks present at Miro's facilities.
  • Collaborate closely with our Trust & Reputation team to develop security policies, define performance metrics, and create awareness and communication strategies to support security initiatives.
  • Participate in and influence physical security risk assessment methodologies, integrating plans with Information Security partners as necessary.
  • Provide strategic guidance and influence to senior management across key business functions, including Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Communications, and Workplace Services.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in a GSOC operational environment, with a background in leading globally distributed security teams.
  • 5+ years of experience managing physical security teams in a corporate setting.
  • Strong technological acumen with knowledge of intrusion detection systems, alarm systems, surveillance systems, and GSOC integrations.
  • Significant experience in vendor management, particularly with contract security services in a multi-site, global context.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • ASIS Certification (CPP, PSP, PSC) or similar qualifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in law enforcement is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to influence partner organizations and senior leadership.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
