Job Title: Radiation Therapist

UroPartners LLC. is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering accurate radiation therapy treatments to patients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of radiation therapy equipment and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate radiation therapy treatments utilizing a linear accelerator
  • Aid in patient simulation and set treatment parameters
  • Record proper documentation of all treatments and procedures
  • Perform daily QA and warmup procedures
  • Schedule daily treatments and other appointments
  • Monitor patient's well-being over treatment and provide patient education when needed
  • Observe patients for evidence of complications and report to physician as appropriate
  • Coordinate patient's daily radiation therapy appointments and CT Scans
  • Handle daily and weekly filming for treatment purposes and verification
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Responsible for professional development and continuing education
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One (1) to two (2) years' experience preferred
  • ARRT Registered
  • IEMA Licensed
  • BLS for the Healthcare Provider
