Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Elliot Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in performing magnetic resonance procedures and producing high-quality images for diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform magnetic resonance procedures in accordance with ACR and ARRT standards
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, selecting appropriate coils and sequences
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal imaging results
  • Maintain knowledge of MRI equipment, computers, and medical software
  • Administer contrast media and recognize emergency situations, initiating code procedures as needed
  • Record patient symptom history and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • Clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging Modality or completion of an approved MRI education program
  • Certification by the ARRT in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine, and/or state licensure
  • Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy licensure
  • MRI Registry with ARRT within 36 months of employment
  • Ability to obtain BLS certification

Work Environment
