Senior Emergency Medicine Advanced Practitioner

Overview of the Role
The Lead Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) at ApolloMD is a pivotal position within our healthcare framework, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and fostering a professional environment for the APC team.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care and professionalism within the Advanced Practice Clinician team.
- Engage in regular discussions with the Medical Director to address clinical and administrative matters.
- Support the Medical Director in reviewing APC charts, addressing patient concerns, and managing correspondence for quality enhancement.
- Effectively communicate updates regarding procedures and policies to the APC team as directed by the Medical Director.
- Facilitate the orientation and onboarding process for new APCs.
- Advocate for APC-driven processes and metrics at the forefront of operations.
- Monitor team stability and morale, reporting any anticipated staffing changes or challenges to the Medical Director.
- Contribute to the development of the monthly APC schedule, assisting the Medical Director in securing coverage for all APC shifts and occasionally filling open shifts as necessary.
- Demonstrate commitment to departmental citizenship by attending required staff meetings and ensuring APC representation at these gatherings.
- Participate in educational initiatives organized by the Hospital and Medical Staff to maintain compliance with accrediting standards, while also fulfilling teaching responsibilities as requested by the Hospital.
