We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer PRN to join our team at Lone Peak Hospital. As a Cardiac Sonographer PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Hospital:

Lone Peak Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in the community of Draper, Utah. We offer a range of inpatient services, including obstetric care and surgery services, and have received a 5-star rating by CMS for our exceptional hospital quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, and intra-operative echocardiograms, in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate patient history with all tests ordered by physicians.
  • Ensure equipment is clean and in proper working condition, and notify the Manager immediately if equipment malfunctions.
  • Follow established surveillance, prevention, and control of infection policies and procedures to identify and reduce the risks of acquiring or transmitting infection.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including staff work areas, patient exam rooms, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Certificate.
