Job Summary

The Laundry Supervisor is a key member of the Grand Bohemian Orlando team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Laundry department. This role requires a strategic business leader who can inspire and motivate staff to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the performance of Laundry staff to ensure efficient and profitable operation.
  • Coach and train staff to ensure superior products and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Inventory supplies and equipment to maintain optimal levels.
  • Effectively execute the flow of work through task assignment and workflow management.
  • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the establishment to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on labor costs and production to inform business decisions.
  • Participate in daily line-ups and regular training/departmental meetings to stay informed and aligned with company goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplies and report to the Executive Housekeeping Manager to ensure timely ordering.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with corrective action to continuously improve service results and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with interviews, scheduling, training, coaching, and counseling to ensure staff development and growth.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree required.
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in a similar scope and title required.
  • Experience within luxury brand/markets required.
