Job Summary
As a Meat Cutter at Tom Thumb, you will be responsible for preparing meat for sale by cutting, trimming, chopping, grinding, and otherwise processing meats. You will also operate machinery such as saws and grinders, inspect and sort meat products, and ensure that displayed products are fresh and of high quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meat in salable sizes and condition for wrapping and display
- Cut, trim, chop, grind, and otherwise process meats
- Operate saws, grinders, and other meat processing machinery
- Inspect and sort meat products
- Ensure displayed products are fresh and of high quality
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
