Job Summary:
Pulmonary Registered Respiratory Therapist for NICU/PICU
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at RN-Staff. As a Pulmonary Registered Respiratory Therapist for NICU/PICU, you will provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support.
Responsibilities:
Provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support.
Must have 2 years' current NICU and/or PICU experience required (no exceptions).
Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Must have BLS required. PALS, NRP and ACLS preferred. BLS, (ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client.
EMR: EPIC experience preferred.
Shifts: 12 hour nights shift. Weekends/Holidays required. Floating required- May need to support PresNow locations. May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. May need to support PresNow locations. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
Requirements:
Active NM or compact license.
2 years' current NICU and/or PICU experience required (no exceptions).
Successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
BLS required. PALS, NRP and ACLS preferred. BLS, (ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client.
EPIC experience preferred.
