Job Description

Bethany Community Services Inc is seeking a skilled Operations Technician to join our team. This role involves performing general maintenance duties and ensuring the upkeep of our properties.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform turn-key work to ensure vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner
  • Detect and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems
  • Assist in maintaining the property's facilities and grounds, including cleaning, landscaping, and snow removal
  • Operate equipment such as pressure washers, blowers, and pool chemicals
  • Communicate effectively with staff from various departments regarding departmental needs for maintenance issues
  • Respond promptly to work order requests and prepare for regular inspections
  • Be available for on-call duties and back-up responsibilities on a regular rotation

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Clean driving record required
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more occasionally
  • Willingness to be a team player and help out wherever needed
