Manufacturing Engineering Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Lead to join our team at Stratasys. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for driving innovation in 3D printing production capabilities and leading day-to-day production support.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on process development, optimization, and project management. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership to drive innovation in 3D printing production capabilities
  • Lead day-to-day production support, driving process improvements and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Oversee all technical aspects of production, including floor layouts, equipment, custom assembly fixtures, work instructions, training, and on-the-ground support
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to solve complex problems and optimize product assembly processes

Requirements:

  • 4 year degree in engineering
  • 5+ years related experience, or 3+ years related experience and a Masters Degree, or a PhD
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on process development, optimization, and project management
  • Proficient in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in leading cross-functional teams

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
