Job Title: Experienced Coal Miner Position

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced coal miner to join our team in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will have a strong background in underground mining operations and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have PA Mine Certification or a minimum of one year of underground experience to take the PA Mine Certification test.
  • Must have worked in an underground mine operation within the past three years.
  • Must provide certification during the interview.
  • Able to work weekly rotating shifts (MAD).
  • Able to work overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to communicate with management and co-workers.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, physical, drug screen including hair follicle test, and functional work screening.

Requirements:

  • Must have HS Diploma or GED.
  • Must have Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift to 100 pounds.
  • Build cribs.
  • Set posts.
  • Build bridges.
  • Supply miner and bolter.
  • Assist with belt moves.
  • Assist with load center moves.
  • Extend waterlines.
  • Unload supplies.
  • Clean spillage of coal.
  • Other general laborer duties as necessary.
