Job Description:

The Clinical Nutrition Manager will be responsible for leading our nutrition team at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nutrition and experience in managing a team of registered dietitians.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical nutrition care plans based on the facility's medical direction and patient population
  • Train and mentor patient services staff and interns
  • Foster teamwork and establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs
  • Monitor competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy of clinical staff

Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, in states where required
  • Two (2) years of experience in acute care preferred
