Job Description

We're Figma, a design tool company that's hiring a Developer Experience Engineer. This full-time role can be held remotely or from one of our US hubs. As a Developer Experience Engineer, you'll design, build, and maintain modern developer tools to help our engineers work efficiently. You'll lead multi-person projects and collaborate with customers and leadership to identify and solve developer pain points.

You'll be part of a close-knit team that values inclusivity and collaboration. If you're passionate about technology and enjoy solving complex problems, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain modern developer tools.
  • Lead multi-person, cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborate with customers and leadership to identify developer pain points.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in the industry.
  • Expert-level domain experience in one of the following areas: Build Systems, CI/CD optimization, Remote Development, or Developing and supporting IDE extensions.
  • Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages like Go, TypeScript, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.

  • Annual Base Salary Range: $149,000-$350,000 USD.
