We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with end-stage renal disease.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Conduct routine patient observations, measure and record vital signs, and set up hemodialysis machines
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers, to deliver comprehensive patient care
- 1+ year of experience in dialysis or a related field
- Certification as a Dialysis Technician (CCT) or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to support the team as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
