Position Summary
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is actively seeking dedicated Long Term Care Registered Nurses (RN) to enhance the quality of care provided to our esteemed veterans. Our organization is committed to delivering exceptional health services and requires skilled professionals to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to assigned patients while enhancing technical skills.
- Identify and respond to significant changes in patients' health status.
- Conduct thorough initial assessments and follow up on patient conditions as necessary.
- Engage patients and their families in the development of care plans and goal setting.
- Adjust care plans based on ongoing evaluations of patient responses and outcomes.
- Utilize the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) and Bar Coded Medication Administration (BCMA) software in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all professional nursing care standards during patient interactions.
- Complete necessary medical documentation in line with organizational policies.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of all patient records, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity to diversity in patient care.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Possess a diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution, with a current RN license in any state; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Have a minimum of two years of active nursing experience in acute or long-term care settings.
- Demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive nursing care for adult patients.
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Have no physical limitations that would hinder job performance.
- No sponsorship is available for this position.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach overhead during shifts.
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist and carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
- Push/pull with a force of up to 30 lbs.
