Key Responsibilities

  • Audit Management: Lead audit projects from inception to completion. Formulate the audit plan based on a comprehensive understanding of the client's business landscape, including time allocations and detailed staff assignments. Supervise daily audit activities and prepare audit reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Field Operations: Provide continuous guidance, training, and support to all team members to foster professional growth. Act as a mentor, review work outputs, and address any challenges that arise.
  • Client Interaction: Act as the primary liaison between the audit team and the client. Communicate effectively with clients to gather essential information required for the completion of the audit.
  • Administrative and Technical Oversight: Oversee field operations and team communications, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on project status, budgetary concerns, and any issues that may surface. Conduct and document work in line with industry standards and firm policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive audit experience within a public accounting setting.
  • Strong technical capabilities to perform tasks in accordance with GAAP and GAAS.
  • Proficient in identifying accounting challenges, conducting research, and proposing solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in supervising and developing junior staff.
  • Familiarity with accounting and auditing software, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong business insight, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field with a strong focus on accounting.
  • Completion of 150 semester credits and fulfillment of all educational prerequisites for CPA licensure.
Professional Credentials:
  • Possession of a valid CPA license or actively pursuing it by taking and passing the state CPA examination.
  • If licensed, must maintain good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Required Skills:
  • CPA certification.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an accounting firm.
