Mercy Hospital South Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a RN in our Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
About the DepartmentOur Emergency Department is a Level 2 Trauma center, Level 1 Stroke and STEMI with Comprehensive stroke certification. We see all patients, including adults and pediatrics, and offer a range of educational opportunities and certifications. Our team is committed to providing exceptional care and making a positive impact in our community.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in educational opportunities and certifications to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a current RN license and a graduate degree from an accredited registered professional nursing program. You must also be able to lift 50 pounds, push, pull, and/or lift, and stand for prolonged periods. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association is also required.
