About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team at Pet+ER in Hunt Valley, MD. As a key member of our ICU team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our Internists to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Internists to provide excellent patient and client care, ensuring a safe and low-stress environment for all.
  • Embrace a team-oriented approach, working closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Obtain blood samples, run lab work, and perform radiographs, while administering medications and treatments to patients as needed.
  • Assist with appointments, client education, and anesthetic and endoscopy procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment for staff and clients.
  • Punctuality, professionalism, and trustworthiness are essential qualities for this role.
Schedule and Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $21-$31/hour, depending on experience and skill set. Benefits include full health care packages, CE compensation, 401(k) retirement options, significant personal pet discounts, uniform allowance, and exciting career path and developmental training opportunities.

Requirements
  • High school or equivalent required; veterinary experience of 2-3 years in a specialty setting preferred.
  • RVT certification is highly encouraged, but not required.
